Oppo Find X8 Ultra

Oppo might be gearing up to launch its most premium offering in the Find X8 series — the Oppo Find X8 Ultra. After unveiling the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro last November in India, the Chinese tech giant seems ready to up the ante with this next-level flagship, expected to debut in March. The Find X8 Ultra is set to bring cutting-edge display technology and an impressive camera setup to the table, according to recent leaks.

A Flat-Screen Revolution

Breaking away from the trend of curved screens, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is rumored to flaunt a flat display with super-thin bezels, thanks to LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) packaging technology. According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, curved screens are losing their appeal, and the Find X8 Ultra could set a new trend with its modern flat-panel design.

This sleek and minimalist display design will reportedly measure 6.82 inches, offering an immersive experience while housing an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for seamless authentication.

Top-Tier Performance

Under the hood, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is expected to pack Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, ensuring blazing-fast performance. Additionally, the device could boast a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support, making battery anxiety a thing of the past.

Stellar Cameras for Photography Enthusiasts

The highlight of the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is its rumored Hasselblad-backed quad-camera setup, which includes:

  • A 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor for stunning clarity.
  • A 50-megapixel Sony Lytia LYT-701 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
  • A 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera capable of 6x optical zoom.
  • A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera to capture breathtaking landscapes.

Rugged Durability and Premium Features

The handset is rumored to come with IP68 and IP69 certifications, making it resistant to dust, water, and tough conditions.

Looking Back: Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro

The Oppo Find X8 Ultra’s predecessors — the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro — were launched in India in November 2024, priced at ₹69,999 and ₹99,999, respectively. These models featured LTPO AMOLED screens, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

With its rumored flat-screen innovation, flagship specs, and groundbreaking cameras, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most exciting smartphones of 2025. Keep an eye out for its official launch in March!
