The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has been made available by Lenovo on Thursday. This midrange phone comes with Android 14 pre-installed, and the vendor promises that it will receive three major Android OS updates. The smartphone has a 6.67-inch pOLED screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower charging. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU and offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The base edition of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, starts at Rs. 22,999 in India. For Rs. 24,999, the handset is also offered with a 12GB_256GB RAM and storage option. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes with a vegan leather finish in Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue colorways, along with a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) finish in a third Forest Blue color choice.

The Edge 50 Fusion will go on sale on May 22 through Flipkart, the firm’s official website, and retail locations in India, according to an announcement made by the company. Additionally, customers can take advantage of instant discounts of Rs. 2,000 on ICICI Bank credit card and credit card EMI transactions.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is a dual SIM smartphone that runs the Android 14-based MyUX operating system. It has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,0800×2,400 pixels) pOLED curved display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits. According to the manufacturer, the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. With up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen2 CPU powers the Edge 50 Fusion.

The recently unveiled Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.88 aperture and a Sony LYT-700C sensor for taking pictures and recording videos. Moreover, it features a 13-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera that can also be used as a macro camera. With an f/2.45 aperture, the 32-megapixel front-facing camera sensor may be used for both video calls and selfies.

UFS 2.2 storage of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion can hold up to 256GB of data. In addition to a USB Type-C connection, it has support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC connectivity. For biometric authentication, an in-display fingerprint sensor is included. Also, the phone has an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and e-compass.
