Aasaan Tech, under the leadership of CEO and founder Hemil Parekh, has set its sights on revolutionizing how small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the construction industry operate. Founded in 2017, the Mumbai-based tech firm has introduced two flagship products—the Pocket Construction Manager and the Hajiri App—that are designed to tackle common pain points in construction management, particularly for SMBs.
The Pocket Construction Manager integrates all aspects of construction management onto a single platform, offering tools for real-time project monitoring, material management, finance tracking, and even subcontractor coordination. This ERP solution is tailored to the specific needs of India’s SMBs, where resources are often limited, and the margin for error is small.
In addition to improving operational efficiency, Aasaan Tech’s apps also focus on transparency. The Hajiri App, for example, replaces traditional labor attendance systems with a digital solution that records attendance and payments directly through mobile phones. This transparency helps prevent payroll disputes and ensures that workers are paid on time.
Hemil Parekh explains that his vision for Aasaan Tech is to continue developing technology that empowers small businesses to compete in an increasingly digital world. “Construction is one of the most capital-intensive industries, and our goal is to make it more efficient, transparent, and accessible for everyone involved,” he said.
