Realme Buds Air 6 to launch in India on May 22

The Realme Buds Air 6 will shortly be released in India. The company has revealed the genuine wireless earbuds’ release date as well as specifics about its design, salient characteristics, and availability.

The Realme Buds Air 5 and its Pro version were released in the nation in August 2023, and the new earbuds will succeed those models. No word about the release of the Realme Buds Air 6 Pro has surfaced thus far. Notably, the Realme GT 6T and the Buds Air 6 earphones will be available together.

Realme has announced that the Realme GT 6T and the Realme Buds Air 6 will both launch in India on May 22 at 12 p.m. IST. The earphones will be sold in the nation via Amazon, the official Realme website, and in a few stores in person. An Amazon microsite for the same has gone live.

Realme Buds Air 6 is hinted to be available in white. The earphones have undergone just minor modifications, while the charging case’s design seems to be reminiscent of its previous iteration. It has been established that the earphones support LHDC 5.0 codec and are certified for Hi-Res Audio.

It has also been verified that the forthcoming true wireless earbuds will have 12.4mm drivers, which are supposed to be the most powerful in the market. The price or cost range of the audio wearable, however, has not yet been disclosed by the company, hence the specific market is now unknown. In India, the previous Realme Buds Air 5 were priced at Rs. 3,699 at beginning. The Buds Air 6 should retail for approximately that amount with a small increase.

It has also been revealed that active noise cancellation (ANC) on the Realme Buds Air 6 can achieve up to 50dB. Additionally, the earbuds will have a six-mic system with environmental noise cancellation (ENC) to enable buyers have clearer calls. Furthermore, it is stated that the 55ms latency of the Realme earphones will enhance customers’ gaming experiences.
