Infinix GT 20 Pro launched in India
The Transsion group subsidiary’s newest gaming-focused smartphone, the Infinix GT 20 Pro, made its debut in India on Tuesday, May 21. With a cyber mecha design and three-color variations, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC powers it. With a dedicated Pixel Works X5 Turbo chip for gaming, it boasts a triple back camera unit driven by a 108-megapixel main sensor. In April of this year, the Infinix GT 20 Pro made its debut in Saudi Arabia as well.

Infinix GT 20 Pro base model (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) costs Rs. 22,999 (bank discounts included). The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, on the other hand, costs Rs. 24,999 (bank discounts included). There are three colorways available: Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver. Starting on May 28, Flipkart will sell the phone.

With a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,436 pixels) LTPS AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate ranging between 60Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz and a DCI-P3 color gamut, the dual SIM (Nano) Infinix GT 20 Pro runs on the Android 14-based XOS 14. The screen has a peak brightness rating of 1,300 nits and a touch sampling rate of up to 360 Hz at a 2304 Hz PWM frequency. For the new phone, Infinix has stated that it will offer three years of security updates along with two significant Android upgrades.

A 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 sensor with optical image stabilization capabilities and two 2-megapixel sensors make up the triple rear camera configuration of the Infinix GT 20 Pro. It features a 32-megapixel front camera for video chats and selfies. Its mecha design has a C-shaped ring on the back and an RGB mini-LED array. There are eight color combinations and four lighting effects available with the LED interface.

256GB UFS 3.1 storage is included with the Infinix GT 20 Pro. The phone has NFC, FM radio, GPS, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, OTG, and Wi-Fi 802.11 connectivity options. It has a proximity sensor, gyroscope, light sensor, e-compass, and G-sensor. Moreover, an X-axis linear motor and an in-display fingerprint sensor are included for authentication. There are two JBL-powered speakers in the phone.
