Price of Redmi A4 5G
Xiaomi has partnered with Qualcomm to launch a new budget smartphone named the Redmi A4 5G. The company showcased this phone at the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC 2024). It operates on the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 mobile platform, making it the first smartphone in India to feature this chipset. The Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 SoC is built on a 4nm process.

Redmi emphasized that the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 processor will enhance the entry-level smartphone experience in India by providing advanced 5G connectivity to millions. The phone features a 50MP rear camera, along with a secondary camera, details of which have not yet been revealed. Additionally, the smartphone includes a 3.5mm audio jack.

In terms of features, the new Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chip supports a 90fps FHD+ display and dual 12-bit ISP camera support. It is equipped with a powerful modem for gigabit 5G connectivity and supports dual-frequency GNSS (L1 + L5), including NAVIC.
